Biomas for Power Generation

The technology we deploy to our potential customers produces syngas for power generators to generate electricity, and heat rejection from power generators is channelled into a heat recovery generator to generate additional steam. For a unit of fuel, we maximise its efficiency of use up to 85% instead of 40% associated with generators producing only electricity from a unit of fuel.

Biomass Feedstocks we use are:

  • cocoa bean shells and
  • cocoa pod husk

In the event of shortfalls, we rely on other biomass materials like:

  • rice husks,
  • wood waste
  • palm kernel shells
  • shea nut cake, etc.

Our plants are unique in their ability to use syngas as the final product to generate energy from a single feedstock in multiple forms(Poly-Generation).

Waste-Heat Usage

The waste heat can also be effectively used for chilling or cooling through Vapor Absorption Mechanism (VAM).

Track Record

Our Technology Partners have successfully demonstrated conversion of the syngas as synthetic transport fuels and synthetic natural gas (Bio-SNG) to fuel special generators to produce CHP.
